harrypotterconfessions: Severus Snape was one of the most unlucky people ever. He had to act like he was someone he wasn’t all of his life. He was part of Voldemort’s team, and part of Dumbledore’s team. But his true loyalty lied with Dumbledore. Snape had to see the girl he loved, dead, lying on the floor without a breath of air in her anymore, that just broke his heart. He had to watch, as Harry, the son of his true love, grew up and looked more like James, the man that Snape hated for stealing Lily, his love, away from him. Snape went through hell and back, he had to keep secrets that would’ve been difficult for any of us to keep.. He had to run back and forth from Voldemort to Dumbledore and act like everything was okay. He had to finish off his good friend, Dumbledore. So let’s just take a moment and appreciate Snape for everything he has ever done, and the brave person he really was
